The Formula BMW Racing Center is a state of the art training facility, designed to take drivers to the highest level. Teaching the most advanced driving techniques, using the latest Formula BMW FB2 single seater racing cars, and BMW approved instructors, our objective is to help you achieve your goals.
Located at the Bahrain International Circuit, the Formula BMW Racing Center operates at one of the most modern Formula 1 Grand Prix tracks in the world. This allows our students to develop their skills and gain experience in an environment of safety...the only thing more important than speed.
BMW's dedication to developing talent in motor sport, dating back to the 1970s, has resulted in the FB2 racing car, designed to be a driver's first step on the road to F1. Introduced in 2002, Formula BMW added the Formula BMW Asia Championship in 2003, and championships in the UK and North America in 2004.These proven series have already led to successful Formula 1 tests for Formula BMW drivers Ho Pin Tung of China, and Nico Rosberg of Finland.
Based on the philosophy that, “It takes a pro to make a pro", the Formula BMW Racing Center uses only Approved BMW Instructors with extensive motor racing experience. Whether it's in the classroom or the pitlane, the most advanced driving techniques will be explained in detail, and then put into practice. Our instructors' aim is to develop a student's driving, and to make them faster, more knowledgeable and safer on the race track.
The Formula BMW FB2 is specifically designed to introduce drivers to race driving techniques that serve as the foundation for all types of racing, from saloon to formula cars, all the way through to Formula 1.
The razor sharp precision of the FB2 will be evident even before the first corner on the track. From the brakes that stop you in an instant and the steering that transmits the slightest inputs into reality, the FB2’s outstanding acceleration is everything you expect when you squeeze the throttle.
Formula BMW FB2 car was on display in our showroom from 17 October until 24 October
