The BMW 502 started a new era for the automobile. This ultramodern 2.6 litre V8 light-alloy engine was the first eight-cylinder engine to be manufactured after the war in Germany. The engine was designed by the engineer Leonhard Ischinger in the record time of some eight weeks – work on the project continued day and night. The most powerful version of this unique engine generated 110 bhp and accelerated the BMW 502 to a top speed of 165 km/h. The lavishly styled sedan was soon affectionately dubbed the ‘’Baroque Angel’’. This car remained an unattainable dream for most people.
Now you have the opportunity to see and feel this Baroque Angel for the first time in Abu Dhabi. From October you can come and enjoy the unique car in our showroom at Umm Al Nar.
