The new BMW X6 is launched at Emirates Palace, Abu Dhabi

On the 26th April 2008, Abu Dhabi Motors revealed the new and highly anticipated
BMW X6 to the UAE’s capital, within the lavish settings of the Emirates Palace Hotel.

Attended by HE Sheikh Abdullah Bin Mohammed Bin Butti Al Hamid, of Al Hamid Group, VIP’s and over 500 valued customers, the event revealed the new addition to the BMW X family and guests were treated to an evening of fine dining and entertainment.

The Master of Ceremony was TV Presenter Joyce Bousader, and after a few words on the new car from Reiner Braun, Area Manager for BMW Group Middle East, she introduced the car to the stage. Driving the car were the Sales Managers from Abu Dhabi Motors and they joined Joyce to talk about their experiences of the car, explain the features such as Dynamic Performance Control and tell our customers why they think it’s going to make such an impact in Abu Dhabi.

Following the show, there was the opportunity for guests to view the car on the stage, and two further BMW X6 in the reception area, which earlier had been concealed with black covers. Once the car had been introduced to the audience, Sheikh Abdullah was given a tour of the car by General Manager Arno Husselmann and Reiner Braun.

During dinner the evening’s entertainment was provided by a number of artists; there was a live jazz band and singer and some dynamic and energetic dancers - which included world champions from South Africa – reflecting the energy, power and dynamism of this car.

Abu Dhabi Motors also offered one lucky winner the chance to test drive this incredible car for the weekend.
