The engine is the heart of any performance car - but few beat as fast as the Z4 M Roadster's. Thanks to its optimised valve gear, this naturally aspirated straight six revs irresistibly all the way up to 8,000 rpm. A final drive ratio that's ideally matched to the high-revving engine ensures exceptionally rapid progress, with 100 km/h reached from standstill in just 5 seconds. What's more, 80% of the engine's peak torque is available from just 2,000 rpm.
